I bought it as a bench right inside the front door. It was easy to assemble (and I'm the least handy person I know) and it's pretty BUT "weight limit of 220 LB" is a joke. I weigh exactly half of its weight limit and I sat down and both I and this so-called "bench" did not feel too sure about each other. A friend of mine (who weighs A LOT more than I do, but under 220) looked at it and said "no way I'm sitting on that thing" and I didn't think she should even try either. So I'm going to say "Size 2 and under only".

I bought this for my husband who has a disability. I put this close to the bed so he can reach his shoes easily. I put small basket on top so that he can reach his medications as well. The color is perfect for our room. It is sturdy and holds 4 pair of shoes (size 14). This leaves to top available for other things. This works great for us.

We needed to follow (dis)instructions/diagram as far as the 'step 1(first), step 2(second) etc.)but 'Success!' BTW; the last bolt couldn't be installed probably because all the tolerance(s)was used up. The furnished Allen wrench was worthless(too soft); I used my power screwdriver. Other then that it went pretty smoothly except for that fastener combo.

My son has several pairs of heavy Timberland boots and sneakers. This fits neatly in the kitchen by the garage entrance. Shoes fit nicely and the rack is very attractive and matches my cabinets. It’s extremely sturdy. Great Value!
