Building this was super simple and it has great looks once it's all up! The warm wood colors really make the room feel like home. I can't think of a better addition to your home.

This was super easy to put together and feels well-made and sturdy. I assembled it alone in less than an hour. It looks more expensive than it is. I'm so pleased with this that I've purchased a matching TV stand.

This is exactly the bookshelf I needed. It is even better in person than the pictures.
Assembly: Very neatly packed, very well protected. Instruction booklet that had a very clear picture. Every piece is labeled, lots of extra wood pegs and screws. Only 1 type of screw needed so no digging around. Very straightforward construction and all holes pre drilled perfectly.
Nice solid feeling wood pieces. Everything is very sturdy once pegged and screwed...Kind of like building a tower like as a kid lol.
I usually don't use the wall stabilizer option, but this shelf is tall and narrow and I have 3 cats, so I did harness it to wall with one bracket.
My only complaint was the stickers labeling the wood pieces although very small were very difficult to peel off...took more time doing that than anything, but I do appreciate everything clearly labeled...just ugh had to carefully razor off each one!
It is SUPER solid amd gorgeous. It addes so much character and storage space to my small bedroom. I love that it can become a huge shelf if I get another one...just not an option for me at the moment due to space...but it stands alone just fine!!
This is probably my best experience with assembly and I do want to say the best bookshelf Ive ever owned...and we are talking over 20 in my 40 some years!!

Perfect for my small space -office. But yet, plenty of room for books and other small decorative items.
Better quality than I expected it to be, considering the price. That's a plus!
